Xavier Aptitude Test which is commonly known as XAT has commenced the online registration for January stream XAT. XAT have been conducting from past 60 years by XLRI on behalf of XAMI. The XAT was the ideal examination entrance test for the selection of most appropriate for greater Management Education in more than 100 Management institutes all over the nation The XAVIER APTITUDE TEST 2013 will be conducted in the following major cities Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Amritsar, Bangalore, Berhampur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Coimbatore, Cuttack, Dehradun, Delhi, Goa, Greater Noida, Gurgaon, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jabalpur, Jaipur, Jammu, Jamshedpur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mangalore, Mumbai, Nagpur, Noida, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Ranchi, Rourkela, Sambalpur, Surat, Tiruchirapalli, Trivandrum, Vadodara, Varanasi, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam. XAT 2013 would also be conducted across the following three international cities such as Dhaka, Dubai, Kathmandu for international students.

Applicants should note that registration for XAT 2013 and appearing for XAT 2013 is the preliminary step towards applying to any of the institutes. Applicants to different institutes have to apply separately to each of the institutes of their choice. IDBI Bank has been appointed as the partner bank for the registration process. Applicants for XAT 2013 can choose to pay online using credit card/ debit card/ online banking or through Demand draft. Alternatively applicants can use any of the 900 + branches of IDBI Bank located all over the country to make payment for XAT 2013. This is to ensure that candidates of all backgrounds are at par, so that those who have pre-familiarity of operating computers, specially coming from privileged background or having worked in IT sector, do not get any advantage over others who do not have access to computers. The paper-pen mode also ensures that all candidates are tested on exactly the same set of questions, and not on different sets.

Once you finish your registration for XAT you shall be provided with a unique XAT ID & password.

All India Council for Technical Education has revealed the notification for the starting of registration of online applications regarding the CMAT Common Management Admission Test for the admissions in Aicte Approved Management courses for the present Academic Year. The National level Common Admission test in Management courses in AICTE was going to held for the admissions in MBA and other Management courses in online. The CMAT was decided to conduct twice every year by AICTE. The detailed advertisement has been published sof ar to announce the schedule for conducting first Test of Common Management Admission Test for 2012-2014. The students will be eligible to appear in both the exam and best of the two scores will be used for admission for 2012-2014. The important Dates for CMAT2012-14 (First Test).

The online application registration window will be open bet. 3rd August and ends on 2nd September. before applying candidates have to ensure that they have a valid mobile phone number along with an E-mail ID where he or she receives the hall tickets and further updates. candidates need to fill their complete information about their academics and all the certificate credentials along with clear passport size photo into the registration phase. After filling of the criteria of the student one has to choose an order of preference of 3 cities in the list provided below. The allotment will be based on First come served. Actual Allotment however will be subject to availability of the slots in a pirticular city. After the choosing he or she was directed to payment page where the applicant has to pay the non refundable CMAT fee for 2012. The fees were also provided to pay either in online or offline.

The detailed merit list will also be provided to the respective state governments education board for allotting the students trough central counseling or otherwise as per the notified admission procedure. on other hand the awarded scores are used for admission in the AICTE approved Institutes or University Departments.

The CAT COMMON ADMISSION TEST 2012 notification and advertisement was out now in iimk.ac.in. The Indian Institute of Management was conducting a Common Admission test for the admissions for Management courses such as MBA into the IIM of Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta, Indore, Kashipur, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Raipur, Ranchi, Rohtak, Shillong, Tiruchirappalli, Udaipur. The CAT advertisement for 2012 CAT examination was also released now. This year the Common Admission TEST 2012 will be co-ordinated by Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode. The CAT 2012 will be conducted in the month of October 2012. The online test procedure was followed this year also without any changes as previous year. The test comprises two sections that are separately timed. Each of the sections will be 1 hour and 10 minutes (i.e. 70 minutes). There will be 30 questions in each section. The sections are (a) Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation (b) Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning. Once a section ends, aspirants can no longer go back to it. Aspirants will be presented with the section on Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation first, followed by Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning. The specializations are also offered as follows :

CAT 2012 Vouchers Sale Ends on 17th September 2012.
CAT 2012 registration of online application starts from 30th July 2012 and closes on 19th September 2012.
CAT examination will be held from 11th October to 6th November 2012
CAT results are declared on 9th January 2013.

APPLICATION procedure FOR CAT 2012 :

Sale of vouchers were available at all selected list of Axis Bank branches prior to begining the online registration process.To register to take the CAT 2011, go to www.catiim.in and click on the “Register for CAT 2012” link. You can register and schedule for the CAT 2011 from 30th July to 19th September 2012

During registration, you will:

Create a profile. Fill out the CAT application. Schedule your test. Before you begin, you should gather all the information you will need to complete the registration process, including your voucher, educational history, mark sheets (SSC, HSC, graduation), work experience, and a list of the IIM programmes to which you are applying. Once your application has been successfully submitted, you can continue the online process to schedule an appointment to take the CAT unless you are a DA candidate who has selected support requirements for the test. You will be asked to choose a site and pick an available date and time at that site.
The CAT may be taken during the window of from 11th October to 6th November 2012 . There will be two sessions each day – at 10 a.m. and at 3.15 p.m.

HALL tickets and Admit cards : After the registration the admit cards are mailed to the candidates e-mail ID and it must be carried while entering the examination center.
