Offline Application : Candidates desirous of forwarding the offline applications are to complete the application as per format given in this advertisement, and forward the same to AFCAT Cell, Post Bag No-5, RK Puram (Main) P.O.,  New Delhi-110066 by ordinary post only. All the candidates applying Offline are to mandatorily provide their valid E-mail ID. Applications received without the E-mail ID will be rejected. Allotment of AFCAT Centres is automated. Online applications are beneficial to the candidate due to ease of data capture and  better chances of allotment of preferred AFCAT Centre. On no

IBPS CWE for officers and office assistants posts 2012. A common written examination is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personal Selection as a pre-requiste for the posts of Group A officers for I to III scales and group B office assistants in all the regional rural banks as listed in IBPS. Around 82 banks are in this recruitment project. 

Office Assistants, Officers ( General banking, specialist officers, scale III )

For Officer Scale- III      Below 40 years 

For Officer Scale- II       Above 21 years - Below 32 years 

For Officer Scale- I        Above 18 years - Below 28 years 

For Office Assistant        Between   18 years and 28 years

Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent Essential: Proficiency in local languages

IBPS may send call letters Written Examination etc. through the registered e-mail ID. he/she should create his/her new e-mail ID before applying on-line and must 

maintain that email account.

Applicants are required to go to the IBPS’s website www.ibps.in and click on the “Common Written Examination for RRBs” and select post for applying to open up the On-Line Application Form.  applicants need to enter their basic details and upload the photograph and signature in the online application form. Candidates are required to upload their photograph and signature as per the specifications  given in the Guidelines for Scanning and Upload of Photograph and Signature 

Candidates have the option of: ONLINE MODE of fees payment or intimation charges 

OFFLINE MODE of fees payment or intimation charges payment of fees / intimation charges through CBS branches of any one of the following 6 Public Sector Banks Bank of Baroda , Bank of India, Central Bank of India, Indian Overseas 

Bank, Punjab National Bank, United Bank of India.  

The application form is integrated with the payment gateway and the payment process can be completed by following the instructions. The payment can be made by using only Master/ Visa  Debit or Credit cards or Internet Banking by providing information as asked on the screen. In case candidates wish to pay fees/ intimation charges through the online payment 

gateway after the upload of photograph and signature an additional page of the application form is displayed wherein candidates may follow the instructions and fill in the requisite details.  

If the online transaction has been successfully completed a Registration Number and Password will be generated. Candidates should note their Registration Number and Password for future reference.  If the online transaction has not been successfully completed then the following message is displayed ‘Your online transaction was unsuccessful. Please register 

again’ Candidates may then  revisit the ‘Apply Online’ link and fill in their application details again.  

On successful completion of the transaction, an e-receipt will be generated.Candidates are required to take a print of the e-receipt for future reference.

Applications are being invited in the prescribed format for the posts of Commercial Apprantice, Traffic Apprantice, ECRC, Goods guard, jr. accounts assistants, senior clerk, Traffic Assistant, Asst. Station Master, Sr. clerk at all RRB regions Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Bilaspur, Guwahati, Gorakpur, Kolkata, Ranchi, Secunderabad, chandigarh, chennai, gorakhpur, jammu and srinagar, malda, siliguri e.t.c regions. The pay scales starts from 5000/- and ends with 20000/-. The number of posts for each category according to the reservation rules was given in detailed notification released earlier this day.

Stages of Exam. :-

Cpmmon Preliminary Examination (i.e. stage I) for all the notified categories.

Main (Second stage) Exam for Cat No. 1&2 - followed by Verification of documents.

Main (Second stage) Exam for Cat No. 3&4 – followed by verification of documents.

Main (Second stage) Exam for Cat. No. 5&6, qualifying typing test followed by Verification of documents.

Main (Second stage) Exam for Cat No.7&8, aptitude test followed by Verification of documents.

Preliminary Examination (i.e. stage I) will be held on the same day by all participating RRBs.

Candidates should refer para 15 of General Instructions for submission of single(i.e. common ) application for Preliminary Exam for all the notified categories to the concerned RRB. Candidates who qualify in the Preliminary(stage I) Exam will again have to apply separately for Main(second stage) Examinations for notified categories as Grouped in para 1.06(a).

Candidates may refer to para 12 of General Instructions regarding On- Line submission of applications.

Participating RRBs have given choice of regional Languages. Candidates have got the option to choose any one of the regional languages at the time of applying.

Examination Fee for Preliminary Exam application – Rs. 60/-(UR & OBC Male Candidates only wherever applicable as per para 3 of General Instructions)

No examination fee for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen /Physically Handicapped/Women /Minorities / Economically backward classes candidates having annual family income less than Rs. 50,000/-

The Application Form as per Annexure 1 & 2 should be filled up by the candidate in his/her own handwriting, with blue or black ball point pen (not in pencil, fountain pen or gel pen) dated and signed. Only international form of numerals i.e. 1, 2, 3 etc. should be used. The Application Form should be filled up in English or in Hindi only, strictly observing all the instructions given in this Centralised Employment Notice. The candidates should affix his/her normal signature in English or in Hindi in the Application Form. Applications signed in capital letters/spaced out letters will be treated as invalid.

The candidate’s Name, Address with Pin Code, Date of Birth, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name and nearest Railway Station should be written legibly in English in bold capital letters, even if the candidate fills up the Application Form in Hindi.

Photographs: One recent (not earlier than three months from the date of application) colour photograph of size 3.5cm x 3.5 cm with clear front view of the candidate without cap and sunglasses should be pasted on the Application Form in the space provided. Xerox copy of photographs is not permitted. The candidates should sign in the space provided in the box below the photograph. One identical extra colour photograph should be enclosed with the application,

indicating candidate’s name and category number on the reverse of the photograph. Candidates may note that the RRB may reject the candidature at any stage for pasting old/unclear photograph on the application or for any significant variations between photograph pasted in the application and the actual physical appearance of the candidate
