Selection of constable candidates :
 

preliminary Selection Test:
i) For Post Code Nos. 21 to 26: Candidates will have to run five (5) km within 25 minutes.
ii) For Post Code No. 27 and 28: Candidates will have to run 2.5 km within 16 minutes.

Physical Efficiency Test :
01    100 meters run         15 seconds
02    Long jump                3 . 80 mtrs.
03    Shot put (7.26 Kgs)  5.60 mtrs.
04    High jump                 1.20 meters
05    800 meters run          170 seconds

Written Examination: Candidates who qualify in the above Physical Efficiency Test will be required to appear for a written examination (three hours duration) as Post Code Nos. 21, 26, 27 and 28 200, for Post Code Nos. 22, 24 and 25 100

Hi tomorrows Sub inspectors of AP Police. Recently the Ap Police Department has finalized the schedule of Written Test of Sub-inspector posts which are now a major step for applications. The Department has decided to Conduct the Examination in December. The Date of First Two papers was 8th December, Second Two papers 9th December respectively. The guidelines and arrangement regarding this examinations has been passed out to concerned authorities. Strict implementation of Examination pattern was now followed with out any obstacles. More than one lakh candidates have been applied for becoming a Sub-inspector.

The Examination centers were decided as Visakhapatnam, Elore, Guntur, Kurnool, Karim Nagar, Hyderabad respectively. The admit cards, hall tickets for the written test of Four Papers will be dispatched shortly in the AP police website. Each Day two papers were conducted.

Negative Marking procedure :

The answering method was objective and script type and for each wrong answer a Half mark was taken out of candidates final score of each paper respectively.
