ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ICET-2013
a) The candidates should be Indian Nationals and should satisfy local/non-local status requirements laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission) Order, 1974 as amended up to date (as per G.O. Ms. No. 25, dated: 19.03.2004 & G.O. Ms. No.108, dated 30.07.2005; and G.O. Ms. No.66, dated 15.07.2011 of Higher Education Department and its amendments).
b) The candidates other than Indian Nationals should satisfy the rules of the Universities concerned.
c) The candidates seeking admission-
i) For MBA: Should have passed recognized Bachelors Degree Examination of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of reserved categories) in the qualifying examination.
ii) For MCA: Should have passed recognized Bachelors Degree examination of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of reserved categories) in the qualifying examination with Mathematics at 10+2 level.
d) The qualifying degree obtained by Distance Mode programme should have recognition by joint committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC.
e) The candidates who are appearing for the final year degree examination shall also be eligible to appear for ICET-2013.
f) Admission into any college depends on its Recognition/Affiliation by the Statutory Bodies.
g) Qualifying marks in ICET-2013 is 25% and no minimum marks are prescribed for SC/ST candidates.
Mere qualification in the entrance test does not entitle a candidate to have been admitted into MBA/MCA course unless the candidate:
i) Appears for Counseling at the notified Centers.
ii) Applies in response to the admission notification issued by the authority concerned (for part-time\evening\distance mode).
iii) Satisfies all the eligibility criteria for admission as stipulated by the authority concerned.

ICET-2013 Applications should be submitted through ONLINE mode only. The Registration fee for online submission and late fee, if applicable, may be paid at AP Online Centers, Mee Seva/ e - Seva Centers in A.P. and also through payment gateway (Credit Card/Debit Card).
ONLINE APPLICATION FEE: Rs. 250/-
The candidates are advised to pay the application fees, along with late fee if applicable and apply on-line at the earliest, in order to avoid last minute rush. MCA MBA SPOT ADMISSIONS LIST 2012, CERTIFICATE VERIFICATION AND SEAT ALLOTMENT LIST DOWNLOAD

Now there was ICET spot round counseling for candidates who seek admissions into MBA and MCA courses in AP state wide scheduled on NOVEMBER 5th 2012. This time there was second round counseling starts from 29th and 30th November. There are more than 1.2 lak seats in over 1500 colleges are waiting to be filled but the qualified candidates number was much less than total number of seats. The web options entry for the second round counseling was scheduled from 29th November. But the technical Education department has decided to conduct the spot round counseling for filling the vacant seats from 10th to 20th October 2012. But to participate for the spot admission one must cancel his seat allotment admission in first round counseling and need to get his certificates from HELPLINE CENTER. The seat allotment order for Second round counseling will be issued on 31st October. After the second round counseling management of colleges may start spot admissions with in 20th November 2012. The vacant seats details of college wise and group wise of MCA and MBA will be placed in www.apicet.nic.in on 10th November.

Finally the Apicet seat allotments were going to be released today. as per the source it is said that the seat allotment lists of more than 2.8 lakhs of students. the national informatics center was hosting the entire icet counseling and seat allotment procedure. The NIC will host the start of download of allotment details from 5.00PM on 21st October. Kakatiya University has not cleared path for Icet counseling 2013-2014. as far as regarded the counseling notification was also not released and no advertisement was also heard in these recent weeks. on other wing the EAMCET counseling for Engineering and other courses was on its final stage. The authorities delayed more than two months for commencing the ICET 2013. With also ICET more counselings such as EDCET, ECET, were also delayed. The freshers will face less time for more syllabus to covered with in a span of half year. The admissions for more than 3.5 lak students in all aspects has to be commenced. more over the left over seats will also take more time for filling at any cost.

Kakatiya University of Andhra pradesh has issued a notification for web counseling procedure for admission into 2013-2014 MBA and MCA master degree courses.
